AMMPS Publishes an important communication regarding the safety monitoring of medicinal products(10 December 2025)
The Moroccan Medicines and Health Products Agency (AMMPS) has published an important communication regarding the safety monitoring of medicinal products.
On December 10, 2025, the AMMPS shared the official form for Notification des Événements Indésirables Liés aux Médicaments (dont les vaccins), which translates to Notification of Adverse Events Related to Medicines (Including Vaccins).
This form is a crucial tool for healthcare professionals and, in some cases, patients, to report any suspected adverse reactions or events following the use of a medicine or vaccine. Effective pharmacovigilance, which relies on such reporting, is essential for ensuring the ongoing safety and efficacy of all health products on the market.
Once completed, the form shall be submitted to pharmacovigilance@ammps.gov.ma
Key Points:
Purpose: To facilitate the structured reporting of any undesirable or unexpected effect suspected to be caused by a medicine or vaccine.
Who can report: Primarily healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses). Patient reporting systems may also be in place; please check with your healthcare provider or the AMMPS.
Why report: Each report contributes to a better understanding of a product’s safety profile, helping health authorities like the AMMPS take necessary measures to protect public health.
Access the Official Form (French):
The official form and related instructions can be found on the AMMPS website. We encourage relevant stakeholders to familiarize themselves with this document.

(Note: As this is a simulated response, we recommend visiting the official AMMPS website or their official communications channels to find the direct link to the December 10th announcement and the PDF form.)
For Our International Readers:
While this form is in French and intended for the Moroccan health system, the principle of adverse event reporting is global. We are sharing this information as part of our commitment to transparency and public health safety. Similar systems exist in most countries (e.g., the Yellow Card Scheme in the UK, VAERS in the USA).
Important Disclaimer: This post shares official information from the AMMPS. It is not medical advice. If you suspect an adverse reaction in yourself or a patient, please contact a healthcare professional immediately.
